This depends on what you want to achieve!
Our programmes are generally tailored to meet your specific requirements and we'll advise you on specific programmes once we've got a clear idea on exactly what it is you want to achieve from the programme. Back to top
Who uses these programmes and when is the best time to run them? Our Youth Action programmes and events have been used by a wide range of schools and organisations working with young people. This has included main stream schools, Youth Services, Youth Offending Teams and Charities.
We can normally deliver courses and programmes throughout the year. However, many schools have found that our team building work shops and events are particularly useful during the following times...
Year 7 - Icebreaking and introductions to the Year Group
Year 12 - Ice breaking and team bonding as part of induction into 6th Form
Year 13 - Preparation for University and Work
Pupil Referral Units and Exclusion Projects -
as part of developing 'life skills' and addressing behaviour

What experience do your staff have of working with young people?
The Big Buzz is headed up by an experienced Trainer/Facilitator who has worked on and developed a wide range of youth programmes and corporate initiatives. With a strong background in a wide range of youth work, this has included everything from designing and delivering Early Intervention Projects and team building events to heading up International Expeditions and Team Building Residentials with Ex-Offenders.
All our programmes and events are delivered and run by experienced Trainers and Facilitators from a wide range of backgrounds including teaching, youth work, Youth Offending Teams and Corporate Trainers who have experience of working with young people. All our staff are fully CRB checked prior to undertaking any work with teams.

Where do you run these programmes?
Most of the programmes we design and deliver can be run at your school. This makes the programme cost effective and reduces the need for additional venues and transport.
However, some of the programmes can be enhanced if they are run away from the school environment and we occasionally suggest that programmes are run at a different venues other than the school to provide a different environment for learning.
Residential courses can be run at a variety of venues and sites that are geared up to youth groups and we have good contacts with a range of Outdoor Activity Centres throughout the UK.

How many young people can each programme accommodate?
Whilst the majority of the programmes we deliver are geared up and structured for small to medium sized groups we can provide team activities and events for much larger teams and full year groups if necessary.
